Join the Welcome Home Program providing companionship to newly housed (formerly homeless) adult particiapnts, who need support building social skills and connecting with community. A volunteer team of 2 works with each participant in the community. Volunteer Befriender Companions participate in "fun" social and recreational activities (ie, movies, coffee, park, library, bowling, etc.) to help their match participant develop self-esteem, trust, positive boundaries, knowledge of community resources, and encouragement to participate in fun
With the recent tornado, we need volunteers will to prepare meals and deliver them to those in need, particularly in the rural areas.
