 gency: Gryphon Place\n\nDRS Volunteers provide Mediation services to person
 s or groups in conflict. The primary model is Facilitative Mediation which 
 is very neutral and is focused on developing agreements that the parties ca
 n live with. Dispute Resolution Services offers periodic training opportuni
 ties for people wanting to learn mediation and a variety of other conflict 
 resolution skills. Our basic training for facilitative mediators is in the 
 B.A.D.G.E.R. model, and follows the established guidelines of the State Cou
 rt Administrative Office of the Michigan Supreme Court. It consists of 40 h
 ours of instruction and experiential exercises, followed by observation of 
 mediation sessions, a supervised mediation internship, and the potential op
 portunity to serve as a volunteer mediator at our center. We also offer spe
 cial trainings from time to time in Community Conferencing and other techni
 ques for managing and transforming conflict.\n\nOpportunity Type: Individua
